The Space
The Pavilion was designed by award-winning architect John Pizzey in the late 1990s as part of construction of Ridgefield Farm. Formed from monumental recycled timbers, mudbrick, terracotta and terrazzo tiles, stone and glass, it evokes rustic country living. Newly renovated, it has been reimagined as a luxury getaway with a focus on bespoke design and creature comforts.

The Experience
Set in the heart of Ridgefield’s expansive gardens, The Pavilion is private and fully self contained. Guests are welcome to explore the property at their leisure, soaking in the tranquil setting, stunning views and abundant birdlife.
Over 30 bird species call Ridgefield home, including myriad parrots, honeyeaters, owls, hawks, kookaburras, eagles, spotted pardelows and willy wagtails. We also have the occasional blue-tongued lizard, echidna and kangaroo.
Guests can also visit our friendly flock of chickens and herd of Angus cows (currently with calves at foot).
